Reflections...

I know it seems like I've only been posting about Tyler lately...but I think all of you understand why, don't ya? It's been one week today since his terrible accident. Each day that goes by really causes me to pause and whisper a prayer of gratitude & thankfulness as I remember last Wednesday. God spared Tyler's life that day; there's no doubt about it.

We had to go to Tyler's school today to pick up schoolwork. I intentionally avoided the route that would take us by the accident scene. I still can't bring myself to drive down that stretch of road...

Please take a little bit longer to hug the ones you love, tell them how much you love and care for them ~ make sure they really know how you feel. 'Cause I'm tellin' ya ~ we are NOT promised tomorrow and you may not get another opportunity. I almost didn't.

  2. Thank you for reminding us all of that, it is way too easy to take things for granted isn't it. Thank God this turned out this way. And you know I am not sure I would be ready to travel that route of the accident either....not just yet...it couldn't be easy.

    Love,
    Kelly

  3. Thank you Michelle for this gentle reminder. Every day that we have with our loved ones is a gift for sure.

I just thank the Lord that your Tyler was protected last week and that this was not his time to meet Jesus. He's young and has his whole life ahead of him.

I certainly don't blame you for choosing another path to the school today...those things take time.

I hope you get a good nights rest tonight, you deserve one!

I'm adding this to my prayer list as well, today.

  8. Thank you Michelle for reminding me to give those hugs. I do try to always tell my loved ones I love them before we say good-bye or night. You can talk about Tyler in every post if you want. We all want to hear how he is and how you are and your girls. I'm glad you are sharing. I'm so in awe of the hand of God protecting him and saving his life. God is doing things in his life and shaking things up, but it's always because He has something grand in mind.

I'm going to tag you for something soon so watch out sweetie. Good-night, I love you. Kathi
