Another Update (I forgot to share this part!)

I guess I wasn't really thinking because I was more focused on Aunt Lois having to go back into the hospital but here's the BEST NEWS....the doctors are confident that they got all the cancer, PRAISE THE LORD! (I can't believe I forgot to say that part of it!) I was so glad to know that!

Aunt Lois is one of my mom's older sisters. She has the gift of hospitality like I've never seen before and such a welcoming spirit. Aunt Lois is the best cook/baker ever! She used to do a lot of catering and baking all kinds of cakes, etc. Like wedding cakes, birthday cakes - the fancy kind :) Her homemade noodles are very delicious and they're kind of her "signature" dish.

I always leave her house with a smile on my face - glad that I spent time with her. Aunt Lois lives almost 2 hours from where I live now and I don't really see her as often as I'd like to. But I need to change that, I know.

Anyway, my aunt is very special to me and I'm glad she's doing well :) Thanks again for praying :)

  3. Michelle I have felt this same way about my Aunt, she is my late grandmothers sister......she is the only aunt that is still alive, my mother has no sisters or brothers, so this particular Aunt has always been extremely close to my Mother and I...she too lives a bit of a distance away, almost an hour but we go there 1-2 times a week ...she does not drive. She is having her knee surgery on Wednesday and I pray she is not scared, its like she is in pain with her knees, but she is scared to go in for surgery and has really been out weighing the both.
I love to hear about your Aunt Lois, I wish I knew her she sounds wonderful! yes and how in he world did you leave the part out about getting out all the cancer, lol! I think you are just glad she is home, and that is a very big deal.
Keep us up to date on her.....And I told myself I would make sure I spent time with my Aunt Margaret, quality time.....I have too many relatives that have left this world that I feel I could have known better and spent more time with and told myself I would not let that happen again.
    have a great weekend!
