Planning Ahead

Today is a chemo day. Yep, gotta go in for a treatment this morning. I've learned to get as much done as I possibly can on the days I'm feeling great. Take yesterday, for example...it was a very productive day - grocery shopping, worked on Christmas gifts, etc. I'm going to put chicken in the crockpot after I get home from treatment this morning. That way supper will be ready with minimal effort.

How is everyone's week going so far? Are you all done with your Christmas preparations? I'm getting closer to being all finished.

Happy Tuesday to all!

  1. I love putting food in the crockpot and letting it cook all day. I hope and pray that you will feel the presence of the Lord with you all day...and very little discomfort from the treatments.

My week is hectic. Since Tom and I decided to stay home for Christmas and not go away...there has been much activity. Laundry and getting Christmas decorations and tree into the house for setting up yesterday. Today...who knows...decorate 2 trees, cookie baking, chili, any number of different things, all needed to be attended to.

  4. Gotta love the crockpot! Thought you'd like to know I made my first attempt at making a handmade photo album ~ it's okay but sure doesn't look as good as your creations! I'll keep trying:) Prayers being said for you today.

  5. Hi Michelle! Hope these chemo treatments aren't so bad! In my estimates you are doing wonderful! You must be very organized!

  6. Hey Michelle,
Just dropping in to say that I am praying your treatment goes smoothly and with as few side effects as possible!

We're done with our Christmas shopping. Today I'm making 7 pans of the Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls to give away. I always have to save a couple of pans for us since they are dh's absolute favorite. I ONLY make them when I'm giving them away for that reason, lol......or we would eat them all!

    Blessings dear friend,
    Jennifer

  8. Hi Michelle ~ I hope the treatment goes well today. I'm still behind in wrapping, but I think the kids presents are all bought! No family, so no need to worry about that end!

Let us know how you're feeling girlfriend!
