4th of July Picnic Pictures....10 Days Late!

Grilling out and enjoying one another's company.
Taylor didn't want to go in the pool right then...
...but she did anyway (with a little help from Uncle Mark & her brother). Taylor is such a daddy's girl!
I didn't know it was "Salon Day", too! LOL Bobby's Aunt Pam brought her hair stuff along to highlight some other family member's hair so she ended up doing mine, as well. (Saved me an hour's drive to the salon - that was so nice :) Sorry I didn't take a picture of me with my big foil highlights (awww, aren't ya disappointed?!). They were all calling me the "Independence Day Monster"...you can GUESS who started that one!
Bobby played his guitar and we were all singing along....so fun! Bobby's family can SING, people - I mean, REALLY sing - like harmonize and all that. His aunt used to lead praise & worship @ church and they've all been involved in church music ministry for years. They sing & play by ear - no lessons or anything. All 3 of our kids have been blessed with that family gene, too. I LOVE sitting around and listening to it :)

Tyler & Papa Bob were playing a game of lawn darts. Don't ya just love how they're standing alike?

I brought chocolate covered strawberries and a cake.

The food was SO-O-O-O delicious! Boy, the women from my husband's side of the family sure can cook! My mother-in-law makes THEE best banana puddin' I believe I've ever tasted!
That water in that pool was just as refreshing as it looks! Tyler was getting ready to dive right in.
We had a great time together on the 4th of July...swimming, eating, just hanging out together visiting...yup, good times :) Bobby really missed all of that when we lived in NC - so it definitely factored into the decision to move back to our home state. He's close to his relatives and always loves to see them.

As you can see, I got a cord for my camera. My cousin is giving me her old printer/scanner/copier because she got a new one. Isn't that so nice of her?

I'll be sharing more pictures this week. I've been really busy working on some home decor projects around here...stay tuned!
