I'm still in quite a state of shock and disbelief after what I learned yesterday. Let me tell you, it's almost like you detach from what is being said about YOU and it feels like they're talking about someone else.
So many feelings are swirling around in my head. I've decided I'm gonna start keeping a journal. I think it will be very helpful.
Here are some things I'm so thankful for today:
*A wonderful, supportive, loving family. My husband has just been the best!
*So many kind, loving, supportive comments & e-mails - and most especially prayers - from all of you...my awesome bloggin' friends :)
*My terrible migraine finally broke this afternoon
Of course, I'm so thankful for many more things but I have to end this post now :)
Until next time,
Michelle

Hey Michelle,
ReplyDeleteJust checking in to say that I'm thinking of you and you have been prayed for.
Any word yet about when you will start treatment?
((((HUGS))))
Jennifer
Michelle, I think that is such a wonderful idea to keep a journal. I'm sure you must have so many feelings and emotions swirling through your head and heart right now that writing them down should be very healing for you. As you know, our friend Deena is doing the same thing and she says what a huge blessing and help it has been to her. Please know that you are never far from my thoughts, and ALWAYS IN MY PRAYERS. Much, much, love and great big HUGS:)Susan
ReplyDeleteStill here thinking about you and praying for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a journal keeper but I could see how it would be beneficial...a great way to get your thoughts, feelings, and emotions out instead of keeping them all bottled up inside.
It will also be a wonderful testimony of how God is going to carry you through this difficult time in your life. You will be able to look back and see his hand in it all...and that will be amazing.
Dearest Sweet Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI have added a prayer button on my blog for you, and have requested all to pray for complete healing.
With tons of love and hugs,
Donna Lynn
I think journaling is a good thing Michelle. Also wanted to mention Deena's blog "Can I be Pretty In Pink" along my side bar, in case you don't already know her. I'm wishing I could give you a hug. Prayers of hope and victory for you, Kathi

Candy
And we are thankful for *you* that we have come to know you on your blog! You are such a sweetheart! Love ya much and will continue to pray!!!
ReplyDeleteLove,

I think keeping a journal is a wonderful idea. Poor your heart out in there.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it almost must feel like you are in a dream. To hear the words "You have cancer" just doesn't seem right.
Be strong. Think possitive thoughts and know God is taking care of you. He is faithful and true and you are in his loving arms.
Big hugs,
Joanne
