Those Meteorologists Weren't Lying!
We had a winter storm around here last night. I guess all told we got about 3 inches of snow dumped on us. It's still snowing and blowing so who knows what the final tally will be?! I just have to go on record and say that I am tired of snow!!!!!!!! I'm soooo ready for spring to arrive - you just don't even have any idea!!!!!
I'm kind of a freak when it comes to our 16 year old son driving in the snow. Yup, I'm overprotective and worried and remind him to go slow, leave enough room between his car and the one in front of him, pump-pump-pump those brakes - you know, all of those "friendly MOM reminders"! LOL He always says, 'yeah, yeah, Mom - I KNOW! I'm a good driver.' And you know what? He really is! But it's his first winter driving alone with his full driver's license - that's why I'm overly concerned, I suppose.
Oh well, it's a good day to stay indoors (well, for me anyway since I'm not an outdoor winter sports fan!) and get some stuff done that I've been putting off :)

Oh wow Michelle, thats alot of snow LOL (NOT!!) LOL!!!! Not like ours here LOL but I know... :)
ReplyDeleteI do know what you mean though..doesnt even matter how much snow, we'd still worry about our kids driving in winter. I dont like driving in winter myself! So I know what you mean..
Loved seeing the pictures!!! :)
Love Candy
did all your family get home safely since they were all out around 10 last night... did you get to bed early?? :O)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing that snow! It is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAs for the kids driving - my two oldest are now in college and living on their own. I call them all the time when the weather is supposed to be bad (yes, even when it is raining) to make sure that they drive safely. They are 19 and 22! I don't think you ever get past worrying about your children on the road. I don't know what I'd do if we actually had snow that stuck.
Enjoy your snow day and I hope you get a lot accomplished.
I know you're tired of it, but I just love seeing it! We don't get to very often.
ReplyDeleteI know how it is when your teen is driving in the snow for the first time. It's nerve wracking!
Stay cosy and warm!
