Well, we survived the move and I am now overwhelmed by all the boxes that need to be put away! Here it's only a few days away from Christmas and I'm not a bit prepared. We did put up the Christmas tree yesterday, though. I spent so much time over the last few months making handmade Christmas cards and wouldn't ya know it...we didn't manage to get a family Christmas picture yet this year so I am scrapping the whole idea and waiting until NEXT YEAR to use them...at least I'll be ahead that way!
My uncle passed away yesterday morning from lung cancer and his funeral is on Wednesday. I am very sad for my aunt.
Hoping you all enjoy a very Merry Christmas with your family and friends and wishing you a great start to "2010"!!!

Dear Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for the loss of your uncle. Death is hard anytime but especially during the holidays.
Believe it or not, you are ahead of me, regarding Christmas decorations. I still have no tree. I planned on going this weekend until the blizzard hit us.
I think the best preparations for the holiday are in our heart and actions. The best decorations are the family and friends that surround us.
Good luck in your new home. One box at a time.
Merry Christmas. Happy, Healthy 2010!
So Sorry to hear the Loss of your Uncle!
