A Christmas Party and Yummy Cake Recipe
Last night we went to my husband's Christmas party at work. It was a very nice, family-oriented evening. There was LOTS of delicious food, fun, laughter and music. Santa came to visit and give all the little kids a nice gift. Bobby brought his guitar and led Christmas carols. Our girls helped their dad out with the singing and at one point, they were even up dancing - but I didn't get a picture of it...shoot!
I brought a couple of desserts and thought I'd share one of the recipes with you. I got this recipe for homemade pineapple cake from my mother. I love it because it's SO easy, delicious and the cake turns out very moist...not at all dry. (Sorry I didn't take a picture of this either.)
PINEAPPLE CAKE
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
Mix all ingredients together and bake @ 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Use frosting flavor of your choice...I like cream cheese frosting :)
That's it! See, told ya it was a simple, easy recipe :)
