Remembering our first date...

Today marks the 18th anniversary of the first date I had with my husband! It's really hard to believe THAT much time has gone by....

Bobby's youngest brother was a senior in high school at that time and he was playing quarterback. We went to the football game that night. I don't remember anything about what the score was or if we even stayed for the entire game but what I do remember is what Bobby did that embarrassed this very shy girl! He PICKED ME UP and CARRIED me around to the bleachers!!!! WHY did he do that? I have NO idea! Bobby just loves to have fun and be silly! All I know is that I was SO mortified and kept telling (or maybe it was more like BEGGING :) him to put me down!

I also don't remember where we went out to eat but I know we did! I remember I was really nervous. (Some memory I'VE got, huh?! Guess we couldn't go reminisce and eat at that same restaurant, now could we?!)

Anyway, today is when "our" history together all started. I'm very thankful for my husband. He's such a wonderful man. Like I've said before, he makes me laugh EVERY SINGLE DAY and we all know how important, how VITAL laughter is to life. His extremely outgoing personality has helped bring me out of my shell. It's neat how well we balance each other out. Of course he's not perfect and neither am I ~ but I really love Bobby dearly and enjoy our life together very much.
